Overview
EN ISO 14823-1:2024 / ISO 14823-1:2024 specifies a Graphic Data Dictionary (GDD) for intelligent transport systems (ITS). The GDD defines a standardized, language‑independent coding system for existing road traffic signs and pictograms used to deliver traffic and traveller information (TTI). Adopted by CEN as EN ISO 14823-1:2024, this first edition revision supersedes ISO 14823:2017 and improves global identification, flexibility and backward compatibility for ITS messaging and in-vehicle signage.
