EN ISO 8534:2017 - Animal and vegetable fats and oils - Determination of water content - Karl Fischer method (pyridine free) is a CEN-endorsed international standard that specifies Karl Fischer titration procedures for measuring water content in fats and oils. The standard covers a pyridine‑free reagents approach (volumetric method in the main text) and includes a coulometric titration option in Annex B. Milk and milk products (and fats derived from them) are excluded from the scope.
