EN ISO 9852:2017 / ISO 9852:2007 defines a standardized test method (DCMT) to determine the resistance of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC‑U pipes) to dichloromethane at a specified temperature. - Dichloromethane has low boiling point and toxic vapour; ventilation, fume extraction and safe handling of contaminated test pieces are required.
