Overview
ISO 29803:2010 defines a laboratory test method for measuring the resistance to impact of external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). The standard specifies the test apparatus, specimen preparation, conditioning, test procedure and reporting requirements used to assess how ETICS assemblies withstand localized impacts. It is intended for manufacturers, test laboratories and conformity assessment bodies involved with thermal insulation products for building applications.
