Overview
ISO 8100-7:2024 - "Lifts for the transport of persons and goods - Part 7: Accessibility to lifts for persons including persons with disability" specifies minimum requirements for the safe and independent access and use of lifts by all people, including persons with disabilities. It defines design, control and signalling requirements, car dimensions and door operation rules to eliminate barriers and reduce hazards.
