EN ISO 7010:2020/A1:2020 is a CEN-adopted amendment to the EN ISO 7010 series (based on ISO 7010:2019/Amd 1:2020) that updates the catalogue of registered graphical safety signs. This amendment (approved October 2020) adds six safety signs to the official registry and clarifies implementation notes such as colour matching and comprehension testing. - Comprehension testing: For the newly added signs, ISO 9186‑1 test data are not available; therefore a supplementary text sign is recommended to increase comprehension unless the sign is supported by manuals, instructions or training.
- Legal/administrative notes: The amendment is adopted without modification by CEN members and national standards bodies are required to implement it by specified deadlines; patent-rights and copyright notices apply.
