BS 5395-2 is the second part of the BS 5395 multi-series for stairs, ladders and walkways. BS 5395-2 gives recommendations for the design of helical and spiral stairs, to be used internally or externally in all types of building constructions. BS 5395-2 covers only stairs that are circular on plan and does not deal with ramps.
