What is BS 5857-2.1 - Measurement of gas flow about ?
BS 5857-2.1 is an International Standard that discusses the gas flow in closed conduits, using tracers. BS 5857-2.1 applies to flow measurement in conduits into which a tracer is injected in such a way that effective mixing in a single phase with the gas flowing in the pipe is achieved. The fluid in the conduit is a mixture of several gases that provide the thermodynamic state and the conditions of the flow of this mixture are well defined in BS 5857-2.1
