What is BS 6870-2.8 - Molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method for the determination of phosphorus in aluminium ores about?
BS 6870-2.8 is an International Standard that specifies a molybdenum blue spectrophotometric method for the determination of phosphorus in aluminium ores and minerals. The method is applicable to materials having phosphorus contents, expressed as diphosphorus pentoxide between 0,01 and 5 % ( m / m ). Note: The arsenic content of the sample does not affect the determination.
