What is BS 7416 - Carbon steel tubes in hydraulic fluid power systems about?
BS 7416 is a British standard that specifies requirements for a range of precision finished, plain end, seamless, cold-drawn, low carbon steel tubes suitable for use in hydraulic fluid power systems. Unless otherwise stated in BS 7416 , the tubing shall be cold finished seamless tube (CFS) grade 360 or 430, category 2, complying with BS 3602-1 with the additional requirements and variations specified in clauses 3 , 4, and 5 .
