Specifies dimensions and tolerances for hook-on fittings for manufacturers to produce such devices to consistent dimensions, to enable safe interchangeability within each type and to minimize leakage of anaesthetic agent. Requirements for the performance of the connection between vaporizers and anaesthetic gas delivery devices are given in BS EN 740. This publication does not purport to include all the necessary provisions of a contract. Users are responsbile for its correct application.
