BS EN 45556 is an international standard used for energy-related products that specifies the methods for assessing the proportion of reused components in energy-related products, which can be applied at any point in the life of the product. Note 1: BS EN 45556 is intended to be used by product technical committees when producing product, or product group, standards. Note 2: BS EN 45556 can be applied where no product-specific standard exists. Note 3: Aspects like performance, validation, verification and suitability of reused components are not in the scope of BS EN 45556 .
