What is BS EN 61112 – Electrical insulating blankets about ?
BS EN 61112 is applicable to electrical insulating blankets for the protection of workers from accidental contact with live or earthed electrical conductors, apparatus, or circuits and avoidance of short circuits on electrical installations. Electrical insulating blankets in rolls having a width lower than 50 mm are not covered by BS EN 61112. Note: This standard gives a.c. test provisions. There is limited history for use in d.c. applications.
