Separator systems are used in a wide variety of situations to fulfill a number of different requirements. BS EN 858-2 discusses separator systems for light liquids. BS EN 858-2 is the second part of the multi-series that applies to separator systems used to separate hydrocarbons of mineral origin from wastewater. Note: BS EN 858-2 does not apply to grease and oils of vegetable or animal origin nor to the separation of emulsions or solutions.
