EN ISO 13503-4:2006 (CEN endorsement of ISO 13503-4:2006) defines a standardized laboratory procedure for measuring stimulation and gravel-pack fluid leakoff under static conditions. The standard provides a consistent methodology to quantify fluid loss (leakoff) into a porous medium for completion fluids used in the petroleum and natural gas industries. Note: the procedure excludes fluids that react with porous media.
