Overview
EN ISO 15792-3:2011 (ISO 15792-3:2011) is an international test-method standard for welding consumables. It specifies the preparation and assessment of fillet weld test pieces used for conformity assessment of positional capacity and root penetration requirements in consumable classification standards. The scope covers consumables for non-alloy and fine grain steels, low alloy steels, stainless steels and nickel‑base alloys. Note: this part of ISO 15792 does not prescribe acceptance criteria - it defines the test procedures and reporting requirements only.

- Test report content: comprehensive reporting of consumable ID, base metal, welding process and parameters, preheat/interpass temps, results (visual, dimensions, defects) and any deviations.
