Overview
EN ISO 15979:2002 specifies requirements for open end blind rivets with break pull mandrel and protruding head made of steel body / steel mandrel (St/St). The standard covers dimensional limits, mechanical characteristics and application data for nominal diameters from 2.4 mm to 6.4 mm. - Workmanship and acceptance
- Rivets must be free from burrs and defects; no cracking after setting when viewed at 5× magnification.
- Acceptance inspection per ISO 3269.
