Overview
EN ISO 22434:2022 - Gas cylinders - Inspection and maintenance of valves (ISO 22434:2022) is a CEN-endorsed international standard that defines requirements for inspecting and maintaining valves on refillable transportable gas cylinders, cylinder bundles, pressure drums and tubes. It covers valve types including ball valves and valves with integrated pressure regulator (VIPRs) used with compressed, liquefied or dissolved gases. The standard supersedes the 2011 edition and is intended for valves that are reused during periodic cylinder inspection or at a change of gas service.
