Overview
EN ISO 5456-4:2001 (ISO 5456-4:1996) defines the basic rules for central projection (perspective) used in technical drawings. Adopted by CEN as a European standard, this part of the ISO 5456 series explains how to construct and apply perspective views so that objects are represented realistically and reproducibly on a projection plane. Annexes A and B are informational; ISO 10209-2 is cited as a normative reference for projection vocabulary.
