EN ISO 7823-2:2003 (ISO 7823-2:2003) specifies requirements for flat poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) extruded sheets. It covers sheets made from colourless or coloured, transparent, translucent or opaque PMMA and applies to thicknesses from 1.5 mm to 20 mm. The standard defines appearance, dimensional tolerances, surface and inclusion defect limits, protective coverings, and test methods (with normative references) to ensure consistent quality of extruded PMMA sheet products.
