Overview
IEC 60034-1:2017 - "Rotating electrical machines - Part 1: Rating and performance" is the principal IEC standard that defines rating, performance and test requirements for most rotating electrical machines (motors, generators, synchronous machines) unless covered by other IEC standards. Edition 13.0 (2017) includes clarifications, corrections and enhancements over previous editions.
