ISO 10278:1995 - Steel - Determination of manganese content - Inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometric method specifies an ICP-AES procedure for measuring manganese in unalloyed steels. The method covers manganese contents from 0.002 % (m/m) to 1.5 % (m/m). It defines sample dissolution, instrumental settings, calibration, and quality checks to ensure reliable quantitative results.
