La présente Norme internationale spécifie une méthode d'analyse par chromatographie en phase liquide à haute performance (CLHP) pour déterminer la composition de solutions de dextrose, de sirops de glucose, de sirops contenant du fructose, de sirops de glucose hydrogénés, de sorbitol, de mannitol et de maltitol. Les constituants sont, en particulier, le glucose, le maltose, le maltotriose, le fructose, le sorbitol, le mannitol, le maltitol et les malto-oligosaccharides.L'utilisation d'une colonne remplie de résines échangeuses de cations est indispensable.
