Overview
ISO 10724-2:1998 is the International Standard that defines the injection-moulding moulds and basic preparation procedures for producing small plate test specimens from thermosetting powder moulding compounds (PMCs). It is Part 2 of ISO 10724 and complements Part 1 (general principles and multipurpose specimens). The standard specifies two two‑cavity ISO mould types - type D1 and type D2 - for plates of 60 mm × 60 mm with preferred thicknesses of 1.0 mm (D1) and 2.0 mm (D2).
