Overview
ISO 10792-2:1995 defines requirements for airframe spherical plain bearings (inch series) made from corrosion-resisting steel with a self-lubricating liner. Intended for elevated loads at ambient temperatures in fixed and moving parts of aircraft structures and control mechanisms, the standard covers bearings without rolling elements for service between -55 °C and +163 °C. Part 2 preserves the original inch-series dimensions (with metric conversions given) and is part of the ISO 10792 series (Part 1: Metric series; Part 3: Technical specification).
