Overview
ISO 10855-2:2024 - "Offshore containers and associated lifting sets - Part 2: Design, manufacture and marking of lifting sets" specifies technical requirements, marking and conformity statements for lifting sets used with offshore containers. The standard covers single- and multi-leg slings (chain slings and wire rope slings), shackles, materials, testing and certification requirements for lifting equipment intended for offshore service.
