Overview
ISO 10889-3:2016 - "Tool holders with cylindrical shank - Part 3: Type B with rectangular radial seat" specifies the dimensions, designation rules, and complementary technical delivery conditions for Type B tool holders (B1–B8) with a cylindrical shank. Intended primarily for machine tools with non-rotating tools (preferably turning machines), this part of ISO 10889 defines the geometry and delivery requirements for tool holders that have a rectangular radial seat.
