Overview
ISO 12215-9:2012 - Small craft - Hull construction and scantlings - Part 9: Sailing craft appendages specifies the loads and scantlings for appendages on monohull sailing craft with a hull length up to 24 m (measured per ISO 8666). The standard defines design stresses, the structural components to be assessed, typical load cases for keels and centreboards, computational methods and modelling guidance, and the means for demonstrating compliance.
