Overview
ISO 13132:2023 specifies requirements and test methods for glass Petri dishes used in general laboratory and microbiological work. The second edition updates dimensional series, adds a Series C for higher hydrolytic resistance (HGB 3) and introduces thermal shock resistance requirements. - Thermal shock: Minimum resistance of 110 °C when tested per ISO 718.
- Marking: Sidewall marking with manufacturer/supplier name or trademark; ISO 13132 number optional; glass type if not otherwise identifiable.
