ISO 13775-1:2021 specifies test requirements and methods for extruded thermoplastic tubing and hoses for automotive use - non‑fuel applications. Intended primarily for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), it covers construction, dimensions, performance tests and marking for hoses used in vehicle systems such as vacuum/electronic control, coolant, screen/headlamp wash and EGR (exhaust gas recirculation). The standard excludes air braking systems (see ISO 7628), fuel lines (ISO 13775-2) and high‑pressure hydraulic systems.
