ISO 13930:2015 - "Iron ores for blast furnace feedstocks - Determination of low‑temperature reduction‑disintegration indices by dynamic method" defines a standardized laboratory procedure to measure how iron ores (lump ores and hot‑bonded pellets) degrade in size when reduced under conditions mimicking the low‑temperature zone of a blast furnace. The method produces three low‑temperature disintegration (LTD) indices that quantify size retention and fines generation after an isothermal reduction cycle.
