Overview - ISO 13948-2:2024 (Non-threaded push-on connections)
ISO 13948-2:2024 is the fourth edition International Standard that specifies requirements for non-threaded (push-on) low-pressure connection ends used with diesel engine fuel injection equipment. It defines three preferred push-on connection types - Type A (nipple), Type B (stand pipe) and Type C (quick connector / plug tube end) - and provides dimensional, surface-quality and designation requirements for use with low‑pressure fuel supply/return, boost air pressure and lubricating oil lines.
This edition (Aug 2024) replaces ISO 13948-2:2016 with optimized forming-part tolerances and improved language inclusivity.
