Overview

ISO 13990-3:2006 - Textile machinery and accessories - Yarn feeders and yarn control for knitting machines - Part 3: Dimensions for connecting and interconnection cables - defines dimensional requirements for multi‑wire connecting cables and interconnection cables used in the low‑voltage electrical installations of yarn feeders and yarn control devices. The standard ensures mechanical fit, reliable electrical contact and interoperability between cables, cable conduits and contact strips on knitting machine accessories.
