- Measure illuminance and UV irradiance with and without UV filter; set test illuminance per the relevant material test standard.
- Replace lamps when illuminance falls to 70% of initial value.
- Monitor filter transmittance and replace or re‑measure periodically (filters can degrade under irradiation).
- Reporting
- Test reports must reference ISO 14605:2013 and include lamp/filter instrument details, transmission/emission data and measured illuminance/UV irradiance at the sample surface.
