Overview
ISO 15027-1:2012 defines performance and safety requirements for constant wear immersion suits used in work and leisure activities to protect users from the effects of cold water immersion (e.g., cold shock and hypothermia). It applies to both dry suits and wet suits designed for routine continuous wear on or near water. The standard sets minimum insulation, ergonomic and safety expectations so suits provide effective thermal protection, buoyancy and conspicuity while allowing normal activity.
