Overview
ISO 15201:2006 - Zinc and zinc alloys - Castings - Specifications defines requirements for zinc alloy castings produced by pressure die, permanent mould or sand casting (and other casting processes). The standard covers alloy designation, chemical composition, marking and labelling, manufacturing inputs, sampling and chemical analysis procedures, and inspection documentation. Annexes include a recycling mark, cross‑reference to national alloy designations, and typical properties of die‑cast alloys at 20 °C.
