Overview
ISO 15841:2014 - Dentistry - Wires for use in orthodontics - defines requirements and test methods for wires used in fixed and removable orthodontic appliances. The standard covers preformed orthodontic archwires (but explicitly excludes springs and other preformed components) and sets out how manufacturers should present physical and mechanical properties, test procedures, and packaging and labelling information for orthodontic wires.
