Overview
ISO 16462:2014 - "Cubic boron nitride inserts, tipped or solid - Dimensions, types" is an International Standard that defines the dimensions, shapes, types and designation rules for indexable inserts either tipped with cubic boron nitride (CBN) or made of solid CBN. This second edition (2014) replaces the 2004 edition and applies to insert shapes in accordance with ISO 883, ISO 3364, ISO 3365 and ISO 6987, and to cutting materials designated BL, BH, BC.
