ISO 16546:2020 - Overview
ISO 16546:2020 specifies a laboratory test method to determine the freeze–thaw resistance of thermal insulating products for building applications. The standard defines equipment, specimen preparation and an automated cycling procedure that simulates repeated transitions from dry cold (−20 ± 2 °C) to wet warm (20 ± 2 °C) conditions.
