Overview - ISO 19056-2:2019 (bright field microscopy colour illumination)

ISO 19056-2:2019 specifies measurands and measurement procedures for colour properties in bright field microscopy with transmitted light illumination. It defines how to measure spectral and chromaticity characteristics in image planes or intermediate image planes and how to present this information to users. The standard supports consistent, traceable reporting of illumination colour for microscopes using halogen, tungsten, LED and OLED sources.
