ISO 19084:2015 specifies the definition of chromatic displacement for digital still cameras, test patterns, measurement conditions and methods, so as to enable the comparison of the results of measurement. The methods of measurement are designed to enable the assessment of the performance of digital still cameras by using image data output by the digital still cameras. ISO 19084:2015 does not specify the allowable amount of chromatic displacement.

ISO 19084:2015, "Photography - Digital cameras - Chromatic displacement measurements," defines standardized methods to measure chromatic displacement in digital still cameras. The standard specifies test patterns, lighting and camera setup, measurement procedures and analytical definitions so results from different labs and manufacturers are comparable. ISO 19084:2015 focuses on using the camera’s image output data to quantify colour-fringing effects but does not set pass/fail limits for allowable chromatic displacement.
