ISO 19721:2022 specifies an accelerated abrasion test method for artificial turfs used in sports facilities by combining simulated solar UV exposure with mechanical stud wear. The method exposes turf specimens to controlled radiation, temperature, humidity (and optional spray/wetting) together with cyclic mechanical abrasion using soccer shoe studs on a rotating/stud‑cylinder assembly.
