Overview
ISO 19983:2024 - Rubber - Determination of precision of test methods provides standardized guidance and requirements for estimating the precision of rubber test methods using interlaboratory test programmes (ITPs). The third edition defines two accepted approaches: Method A (based on ISO 5725-1, ISO 5725-2 and ISO 5725-3) and Method B (based on ASTM D4483). The standard covers design, conduct, statistical treatment, outlier handling and reporting of precision studies for rubber test methods.
