ISO 21853:2020 - "Kite boarding - Release system - Safety requirements and test methods" specifies minimum safety requirements and laboratory test methods for release systems used in kite boarding. The standard covers systems that intentionally reduce kite pull and/or disconnect the rider from the kite, and is intended for devices operated by the user or another person.
