Overview
ISO 22683:2022 establishes a standardized test method to evaluate the rotational adaptability between an implant body and an implant abutment in dental implant systems. The standard applies specifically to systems that rely on an anti-rotational feature (for example hexagonal connections) rather than a friction-fit.
