ISO 22763:2006 - Equipment for crop protection - Sprayers - Demonstration track for field crop sprayers - specifies a uniform demonstration track used to visually show the spray boom movement of field crop sprayers (mounted, trailed or self‑propelled). The standard defines a repeatable layout and physical requirements for a track used in practical demonstrations (not laboratory measurements), so observers can compare boom behaviour under consistent, realistic and extreme conditions.

- Section A (Field track) - required: constructed from 143 blocks over a total length of 51.6 m (sequence given in Annex A) to represent typical field surface irregularities.

- Surface and durability
- Ground must be hard, solid and even across the boom width, and test blocks, ramps and bumps non‑deformable so each sprayer encounters identical conditions.
- Operational conditions
- Acceleration zone provided to reach steady speed. Driving speeds correspond to local practice; recommended demonstration range 4–12 km/h (commonly 6–12 km/h), with tolerance ±1 km/h.
- All sprayers should have consistent settings (track width, boom height, boom levelling state, 50% tank volume) and boom skids removed unless otherwise specified.
- Safety and fairness
- National/local regulatory and health & safety rules apply; the track must provide equal conditions irrespective of test sequence.
