Overview
ISO 23813:2007 - Cranes: Training of appointed persons defines the minimum training content and objectives for a person appointed to plan, control and manage crane lifting operations. It sets out prerequisite aptitudes, core learning goals, and the subjects that must be covered so the appointed person can safely select cranes and lifting gear, prepare a safe system of work and supervise lifts. The standard excludes additional training for lifts involving dangerous goods or hazardous areas.
