Overview
ISO 2729:1995 - "Woodworking tools - Chisels and gouges" defines the characteristics, dimensions and test methods for chisels and gouges used in woodworking. This second edition (1995) replaces the 1973 edition and covers blade geometry, material and hardness requirements, handle design and secure fixing, and mechanical tests that ensure durability and safe use.
