ISO 29022:2013 - "Dentistry - Adhesion - Notched-edge shear bond strength test" specifies a standardized shear test method to determine adhesive bond strength between direct dental restorative materials (principally dental adhesives) and tooth structure (dentine or enamel). Apply adhesive per manufacturer’s instructions. Use a plastics button mould with hole diameter (2.38 ± 0.03) mm for composite placement; prepare 15 specimens for testing.
