Overview
ISO 3001:1999 specifies a laboratory titration method for the determination of the epoxy equivalent (EE) of epoxy compounds. Applicable to all epoxy resins and low-molecular compounds, the standard describes how to quantify the mass of resin that contains one mole of epoxy groups. A normative annex (Annex A) provides a modification for epoxyamines (nitrogen-containing epoxy resins) to correct for acid uptake by amino groups.
